SQLJ Language Support is commercial software by Danny Reinhold under the SQLJ Plugin EULA. There is no parallel free noncommercial license for the current Plugin. The source repository is private.
The complete feature set is available with personal and business subscription offers, normally including a 30-day trial. A personally purchased license permits commercial/freelance work by its assigned owner; personal purchase is not free use and does not create transferable organization seats.
The offer and purchase confirmation determine users, duration, renewal and fallback entitlement. With eligible perpetual fallback, a covered older release can remain usable after subscription expiry; this does not automatically cover the latest installed version. Consult the EULA and actual offer. Contact support@sqlj-lang.org for availability.
The Developer can supply a package without Marketplace activation checks under a separate written customer grant. Its commercial terms still apply; absence of a technical check does not grant unlimited use or redistribution. These packages are supplied privately and are not Marketplace releases. Tools → SQLJ: License Information identifies the installed distribution and its customer reference.
Documentation and project-owned website artwork are CC BY 4.0: attribute Danny Reinhold, link the license and indicate changes. Embedded documentation code examples and wizard-generated starter files are also MIT and can be used commercially under those terms. This does not license the plugin implementation or standalone implementation/test fixtures under MIT.
Vendor tools, drivers, containers and other dependencies retain their own terms. This independent plugin is not an official IBM or JetBrains product and grants no third-party trademark rights. Earlier Apache-2.0/PolyForm copies keep their prior grants; those licenses do not apply as alternatives to this current distribution. GitHub publishes documentation only, not plugin source or binary distributions.
